Here is a slideshow of a handful of pictures I have taken and uploaded to flickr. Actually all these pictures were taken at an event in Philadelphia called the Summer Solstice event. Where during the solstice, people gather at a performance hall called the Kimmel Center, and stay up all night and watch performances and take part in activities.
We seem to have found ourselves in another semester here at Northeastern University. It seems we've done what we were asked, most of us probably did more than just that, since we're all still here. We will be tasked with a handful of things new to us. Some things that are not. Hopefully we will all be able to get along, and prove we can get through this new semester with ease.
To help do that I figure I'll let my readers know a little about me. Who knows, we might even have something in common.
I'll start with The Basics
My name is Corey, though I also go by my hebrew name, Zev. You can choose to call me whichever you'd like. I will answer to both. To the best of my knowledge, I've only existed for 20 years. I grew up in Philadelphia and spent my life in that area until I moved here. I've traveled here and there, but I've yet to leave the country, aside from a trip to the Dominican Republic. I sing with two groups on campus. I ride my bike everywhere. I spend most my time in front of a computer.
The Education I currently attend Northeastern University as a Graphic Design major, (though you probably already knew that). I am in my third year here, but I spent my entire first year as a (not so) dedicated Math Major. Now I love what I'm doing with graphic design and I plan on being quite succesful with it some day. After I finish my undergraduate degree, I plan on studying either Advertising or Marketing for a graduate degree. I have already completed one coop, which took place within the Snell Library at a tremendously useful computer lab called the Digital Media Design Studio.
The Singularities My trusty steed is made of metal, has two wheels, and does not let me stop pedaling when I feel like it (well, without throwing me off). I ride it everywhere, the 3 miles to school, to visit my friends, and anywhere else I may need. I have one pet hamster, which I am currently taking a video of, hoping she does something cute that I can virally market. I think she's just sleeping. Also, I'm allergic to chocolate.
This blog has been made to assist with my education in a class called "Interactive Tools." It will be updated as requested, but below this information, you can see an RSS feed of my actual blog, in all its creatively titled glory, The Blog @ ZevDesigns
